The AMII (Associate Member of Institutes of Engineers) certification is a professional certification degree equivalent to BE. Students completing the AIM certification course are awarded AIM certificate by the Institute of Engineering, India. The AIM exam consists of two sections and takes approximately 4 years to complete this course. But, polytechnic diploma holders do not need to be involved in Stream A, ie Project Work. Therefore, they can do AIM certification course in 3 years only.
